WALK WITH A HERO

Since 2001, our nation’s veterans have selflessly stepped up to the plate and defended our great nation by serving in the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. They have made incredible sacrifices while fighting for our freedom and deserve our support when they return home.

Ohio Combat Veterans helps our returning veterans transition to civilian life by helping them apply for their benefits, find jobs, and by providing a healthy social outlet. Started in May of 2011, Ohio Combat Veterans has already helped over 90 of Ohio`s veterans.

Now, you can help Ohio Combat Veterans take care of our returning men and women by walking side-by-side with them during our First Annual 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk at Creekside Plaza in Gahanna. This will be a great way to get out of the house, have some fun and support our local veterans. We look forward to seeing you there!
